Wexford Revealed
Wexford Racecourse, and the county in general, is a very friendly, welcoming place. It's located in one of the most pleasant parts of the country, the sunny south-east.

Wexford's average sunshine quota is 4.48 hours per day against the national average of 3.75 hours so it's much more likely to be sunny for your visit, whatever time of year that is. Even the name of its location, Bettyville, has an appeal that reflects the feeling of bonhomie prevalent at the course.

It's a fun course. The racing invariably features large fields of competitive flat and jump racing with the top jockeys from both codes in action. There is also an excellent view of the track from the stands. You will find that there is always a warm, lively atmosphere in Wexford and afterwards in the local hostelries.

It is a gently undulating right-handed course of one mile and two furlongs which features flat and National Hunt racing.
