National Irish Famine Museum is located at Strokestown Park House, Bawn Street in Strokestown, Co. Roscommon.

The National Irish Famine Museum at Strokestown Park, is regarded as the best private archive on the Great Irish Famine between 1845 and 1850 in excess of two million people - almost one-quarter of the entire population - either died or emigrated.

The museum is twinned with Grosse Ile and the Irish Memorial National Historic Site, Grosse Ile, Quebec, Canada where over 5,500 Irish people who emigrated during the famine years are buried in mass graves.
