Roman Catholic Church

An attached symmetrical gable-fronted double-height Gothic Revival stone Roman Catholic convent chapel, built 1909 by James McAdorey of Dundalk to designs by John Joseph McDonnell (1857 - 1924), then of 27 Chichester Street, Belfast, extended and remodelled 1933 - 1938 by Robert Cullen & Sons to designs by Thomas Joseph Cullen (1879 - 1947), the of 25 Suffolk Street, Dublin, who was also responsible for the covered passageways and other connections to the chapel. A complicated building in the grounds complicated convent united by institutional Gothic facades.
