A freestanding stone barn-style former Presbyterian meetinghouse with Gothic Revival detailing, bearing two fine datestones of 1779 and 1846, refurbished 1915 by David R. Drum of The Diamond, Monaghan, to designs by Harry Skelton of Market Street, Monaghan. Elegant eighteenth-century windows with Y-tracery and elongated quatrefoil glazing to spandrels are identical to the earlier nearby St Dympna's / St Davnet's Church of Ireland Church, Ballinode (1755, enlarged 1804, 1830; Ref. 41400915), indicating a the same craftsmen responsible as this simple structure was more likely built and not designed. Internal plasterwork appears to date from 1846 but could be 1915.
